CANOGA PARK, Calif.—Zero Tolerance Entertainment is set to release the independent production Measure X that completed shooting Jan. 4 in Los Angeles. All proceeds from the distribution of the film will go towards funding the appeal of Measure B.
"We're excited to put out this film so we can collect money to fight Measure B," said Domenick Bongiorno, head of production at Zero Tolerance Entertainment. "We'd like to encourage other companies to do the same, to get our voices heard that it's an unconstitutional ruling."
"The response was amazing in terms of sheer numbers of people who wanted to be involved," said director Mike Quasar who wrote the script for Measure X, a tongue-in-cheek comedy about the potentially ridiculous consequences Measure B will have on the adult film industry. "We had an incredible amount of volunteer actors and crew members that donated their time to this production."
Among the talent appearing pro bono in the film are actresses Joanna Angel, Jayden Jaymes, Adrianna Luna, Bonnie Rotten, Lola Foxx, Capri Cavanni, Madelyn Monroe, and male performers Anthony Rosano, Will Powers, Tommy Pistol, Chris Cock and Derrick Pierce.
Zero Tolerance Entertainment is encouraging other adult performers, crew members and production companies to do their part in overturning Measure B. Measure X completes production today, and will be released in early February.
