YNOT Grand Prix Readies Checkered Flag for Prague

PRAGUE—Ladies and gentlemen, prepare to start your kart engines, because September 20 is the fourth leg of the YNOT Grand Prix championship webmaster kart races, this time during the European Summit inPrague.

Heats will run from 2 - 4 pm at one of Prague’s top kart-racing facilities, with the winners of the qualifying heats facing off in a final grudge match to determine the Praguechampion. Wolf Kring of 200Charge.com, who won the Phoenix Forum title in March, said he is determined to hold onto his crown and defied other racers to try taking it.

“He’s a vicious competitor, and I have no doubt he’s planning to leave tire tracks all over anybody who tries to get in his way,” said YNOT Group LLC Vice President LAJ. “Humility has no place in kart racing, and I can definitely say Wolf enjoyed rubbing a few noses in hisPhoenixvictory. But I have it on good authority he’s going down in Prague.”

The YNOT Grand Prix series offers both team and driver championships. Divided into groups, competitors complete a 10-minute practice session and a 10-minute qualifying session at each event. Then the top drivers move on to the final.

In the final, grid position are determined by fastest lap times during the qualifying heats, with drivers taking their positions on the starting grid according to their times. Pole position goes to the driver with the fastest qualifying time. The first driver across the finish line wins.

“It’s always a lot of fun to get competitive webmasters together and turn them loose in 45-miles-per-hour bullets with wheels,” said YNOT Group President Connor Young. “Thanks to our sponsors, 2000Charge.com and PussyCash.com, we’ll also have food and drinks at the track. It’s a great way to let off some steam and find out what your fellow webmasters are like when the heat is on.”

Transportation to and from the headquarters hotel will be provided by YNOT.
