LOS ANGELES—As adult director Brad Armstrong puts the finishing touches on his upcoming release Men In Black: A Hardcore Parody, the filmmaker’s first big-budget spoof continued its critical winning streak last week at the 28th Annual XRCO Awards.
The Rocki Whore Picture Show: A Hardcore Parody was recognized with the evening's Best Parody (Comedy) award.
Armstrong was in attendance to personally accept the trophy from presenters and contract stars Jessica Drake and Stormy Daniels. When not on stage, the director and the Wicked Girls walked the red carpet and participated in a flurry of media interviews.
To date, The Rocki Whore Picture Show: A Hardcore Parody has won over 10 major awards from such leading voting bodies as AVN and the X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO).
“It’s great to be recognized by both AVN and the XRCO for Rocki," Armstrong said. "We're very excited to see our first parody garnering so much acclaim. It’s part of the reason we moved forward with our next blockbuster spoof, Men In Black: A Hardcore Parody. We really believe it will see the same kind of success come next awards season.”
