LOS ANGELES, Calif.—In his upcoming science-fiction epic for Wicked Pictures, 2009 AVN Director of the Year Brad Armstrong depicts a future world in which robots serve as adult performers.
But you can forget about pondering whether these androids dream of electric sheep; the real question is whether they have desires. After all, from movies and television to comic books and the internet, sci-fi has often provided a mirror for reflecting society's evolving sexuality. And 2040, Armstrong's spectacularly chilling look at the future of erotica, promises to be no exception.
Starring jessica drake, Kaylani Lei, Kirsten Price, Alektra Blue, and Mikayla Mendez, this ambitious production portrays a future where adult filmmaking has gone through a number of changes, the biggest being the introduction of sex droids as adult stars. These "anabots" have the capacity to move, talk and, of course, make love—and with the advent of the MRA-5 (the latest prototype from an up-and-coming robo-designer), they can even feel.
