LOS ANGELES, CA—Wicked Pictures is pleased to announce that it has received eight nominations from the X-Rated Critics Organization, with nearly half of them going to Brad Armstrong's chilling science fiction spectacular 2040.
Both Armstrong's release and contract superstar Stormy Daniels' uproarious Operation Tropical Stormy received Best Epic nominations, making Wicked the only company to be honored with more than one mention in this coveted category.
In addition to Best Epic, 2040 was recognized with mentions for Single Performance - Actor (Marcus London) and Most Outrageous DVD Xtras. Related nominations included recognition in the Best Feature category for Armstrong's Educating Alli and, not surprisingly, a Best Director (Features) mention for the overall quality of the filmmaker's output.
Ms. Daniels' Operation Tropical Stormy also received mention for Most Outrageous DVD Xtras, making Wicked the only company with more than one title in this category as well.
In other Daniels news, The ongoing quality of The Predator franchise was honored with a nomination for Best Girl/Girl Series.
