LOS ANGELES/TAMPA—With the 21st Annual NightMoves Awards nominations recently unveiled, Wicked Pictures has announce that it too is getting its share - of the glory. The company's talented directors and performers received 15 nomination—its highest NightMoves tally to date.
Nearly a third of the nominations went to veteran contract performer, writer and filmmaker Stormy Daniels, who was recognized in the Best Female Performer categoryand also received a Best Director (Non-Parody) nomination. Specific Best Feature nominations went to her hit comedy Divorcees and the supernaturally-themed Wicked Passions romance, Immortal Love. Writer, performer, director and emerging sexual wellness authority Jessica Drake was similarly honored, earning nominations for both Best Female Performer and Best Body, while her Derrick Pierce-directed drama Tuff Love took its rightful place in the Best Feature category. Brad Armstrong's work for Wicked was championed with an overall nomination for Best Director (Non-Parody).
Veteran Wicked contract director Jonathan Morgan's Lisa Ann Can't Say No was one of three Wicked titles recognized in the Best Cougar / MILF Release category, which included Cougars Vs. Kittens and Cougars and Cubs from director Edwin Lee.
Wicked Girl and recently-announced 2014 AVN Awards Show co-host Samantha Saint received attention in two very different categories—Best Boobs and Best All-Sex Release for the Barrett Blade-directed Saints & Sinners. Blade was also recognized in the latter category for Foxxx N' Soxxx.
Finally, Wicked Pictures received a Best Company nomination.
President and owner Steve Orenstein said he couldn't be more pleased to see his filmmakers and performers rewarded so handsomely, observing, "We're thrilled to have six of our directors and three contract stars nominated for such a wide range of projects. The 21st Annual NightMoves Awards Show will be held this October in Tampa, Florida. In a prepared statement, event organizers announced, "The NightMoves Awards were started in 1993 and are the third oldest, continuously running adult awards show in the United States. The NightMoves Awards are an offshoot of NightMoves Magazine, owned and operated by Paul and Tracy Allen. The NightMoves Awards were the first to allow fans to select the winners, making it the original fan based awards. They were also the first awards show to allow online voting."
