HOLLYWOOD — In an evening of glamour, music, camera flashes and A-list adult talent, West Coast Productions took home two coveted awards from the 2nd Annual Urban X Awards.
Nominated twice for Big Ass Stalker, West Coast Productions and AfterDark Pictures director/writer Bishop took home the trophy for both Best Feature and Best Director.
The atmosphere at the awards show was one of support and healthy competition as the ethnic and urban adult entertainment community gathered to celebrate the achievements and accomplishments of their fellow directors, producers, studios, talent and management agencies.
Also nominated for Best Girl-Girl Scene, and Best Black Release in addition to other categories, West Coast Productions was last year's Lifetime Achievement recipient.
Director Bishop, who is working hard on his upcoming feature Black Fatal Attraction, made sure to give thanks to those who voted online for the nominees of this year's Urban X Awards, "I create movies for my fans & the excitement of being nominated makes all the challenges along the way worth the efforts. I would like to take this moment to thank all of my fans & peers who took the time to vote for me and the titles that I have created. I would also like to thank the Urban X Awards for recognizing urban product."
