Hot Wendy Productions staff and friends are happy to announce that owner Wendy Williams is AVN's 2009 Transsexual Performer of the Year.
Wendy Williams started her career in 2004 thanks to the help of her mentor and idol, TS performer Joanna Jet. Now, after five years, 50 videos, countless Internet scenes and four consecutive AVN Award nominations, the wondrous Wendy has achieved the highest honor in the genre.
Wendy was the first transsexual to produce and star in an all African-American male gangbang in July of 2008 and considers this the work that put her over the top. Sponsored by Grooby Productions, A Shemale GangBang: The Interracial Version scored a 2009 AVN Award nomination for Best Transsexual Release.
"I am beyond happy, and look forward to working with AVN to help continue introducing my genre into the mainstream adult industry," Wendy said. "I really hope that certain stereotypes can be addressed and that I will be able to at least have some dialogue with Jenna Haze. Just because we don't fuck each other doesn't mean we can't do some marketing together!"
