LOS ANGELES—Vouyer Media has announced that it has secured the services of AVN Award-nominated parody director Anton Slayer to helm several larger-budgeted satires for the company. No stranger to the world of adult comedy, Slayer's previous work in the parody genre has included such acclaimed spoofs as This Ain't Gilligan's Island XXX and the multiple AVN Award nominee This Ain't The Munsters XXX.
Under the Vouyer Media banner, Slayer will be bringing his sharp wit and jeweler's eye for erotic detail to several of the most iconic television franchises of the 1970s, '80s, and '90s. At press time, titles in the works include provocative spins on such beloved TV franchises as The Dukes of Hazzard, Taxi, M.A.S.H., Two and a Half Men and The Facts of Life.
"We all know that the parody genre has exploded in popularity over the last two years," observes Slayer. "I look forward to exploring these new projects within the context of the Vouyer Media label and helping the company diversify and grow its brand at the same time."
Company publicist Daniel M shares Slayer's enthusiasm, adding, "I'm excited to see the company moving into fresh territory, and I don't think we could have found a better guide into that territory than Anton Slayer. As a fan of pop culture myself. I can't wait to see the movies he'll create for us."
The first "creation" the director will be tackling for the company? A firmly tongue-in-cheek XXX variation on The Dukes of Hazzard. Needless to say, if you ever wondered what Daisy would look like once she slipped out of those iconic shorts, your curiosity will soon be satisfied. To learn more, visit VouyerMedia.com.
