LOS ANGELES—VenusVice executives David and Sam Vice say they received a positive response to the start-up company's first annual Marital AIDS Benefit, an adult industry charity comedy show held last Saturday night at Santa Monica's Westside Comedy Theater.
The show featured stand-up comics Chris Gorbos, Jennifer Murray, Nat Baimel, Heather Thomson, Steve Sholtz and Kevin Christy, with proceeds going to AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA). Following the performances, David and Sam Vice raffled numerous adult products, including DVDs from Wicked Pictures, James Deen Productions and Evil Angel, as well as novelty items from Evil Angel, Hustler and Fleshlight.
Adult stars in attendance at the event included Nicki Hunter, Aiden Starr, Lauren Phillips, Verta and Tarantino XXX.
"VenusVice would like to thank Lissa Baren from Evil Angel, Nicki Hunter, and Nat Goldberg from the God Damn Comedy Jam for attending and donating awesome raffle prizes to the event," the company said in a press statement. "VenusVice would also like to thank the staff and owners of Westside Comedy Theater for all their continued support in promoting and running the show. Show producers David and Sam Vice have received a tremendous amount of positive feedback on the benefit and are planning to make the second Marital AIDS Benefit even better."
Adult industry members who wish to further support APLA can attend the AIDS Walk Los Angeles Sunday in West Hollywood. For more details, contact VenusVice here.
