LAS VEGAS — VCX and Celluloid Addiction have reported a successful exhibition at the 2009 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, highlighted by the debut of Michael Ninn's new movie "Nymphetamine".
Company reps say fans were "enthralled" by the latest creation from Ninn, the AVN Award-winning director credited as one of the fathers of the adult industry's "art-core" movement. They were not only taken by the movie's stunning videography but by its promotional stills as well, taking photos of and in front of booth's posters for the movie.
"Nymphetamine" is Ninn's debut release through his new Celluloid Addiction partnership. The movie features an all-star cast that includes former contract girl Jana Cova, European sexual sensation Jennifer Dark, Playboy Playmate Heather Carolin as well as Penthouse Pets Jana Jordan, Georgia Jones, Alyssa Reece, Celeste Star and Charlie Laine. Sexy newcomers Karlie Montana and Faye Reagan also appear in the movie.
VCX president David Sutton, a partner in Celluloid Addiction with Ninn and Strip Las Vegas publisher Scott Santos, was pleased with the feedback from fans and buyers at AEE.
"The response from the booth was incredible; everyone asked about Ninn and what was coming up," Sutton said. "Considering the problems everyone's having now, the turnout to the booth and the foot traffic was impressive. Celluloid Addiction had a great first show."
Celluloid Addiction plans to release 12 Ninn movies in 2009. Next up is "Solamente," scheduled to hit the market in February.
VCX's Inauguration Day release "Fuck Bush," a compilation of highlights from the VCX classic-porn archives, also created buzz at AEE. The video features Kay Parker, Seka, Desiree Cousteau, Serena, Dorothy LeMay and John Holmes.
"We're finally seeing the end of this administration, and there's no better way for anyone to send a message about what they thought about it than to pick up a copy of 'Fuck Bush,'" Sutton said.
