CANOGA PARK, Calif.—Simpsons: The XXX Parody YouTube trailer has managed to reach just over two million hits in a very short time. By the second day, the trailer hit the No. 1 viewed video in the “Entertainment” category and No. 2 overall on YouTube.
“This is amazing!” Simpsons: The XXX Parody director Lee Roy Myers said. “I mean, I knew our latest parody was going to be a hit and push a few boundaries for people, but I didn’t expect it to literally become an overnight sensation. I’m ridiculously excited to see how the success of it continues to take off.”
Simpsons: The XXX Parody, distributed by LFP Video, will be available on DVD Jan. 24.
