CANOGA PARK, Calif.—The porn industry has been making MILF films since the beginning of time, or at least since the beginning of celluloid. (Remember Aunt Peg?) But it took the mainstream entertainment industry a bit longer to create a safe, family-friendly show that capitalizes on the exact same theme.
Of course, in mainstream TV, the cougar and her younger male companion might look longingly at each other, thereby insinuating what's to come, whereas in porn the female cougar can eye a pair of cubs one moment and be engaged in a d.p. the next.
So, given that a major television network chose to put everyone’s favorite “friend” in the coveted role of the top cougar in town, Hustler Video took advantage of the opportunity to do what it does best: Cast Dylan Ryder in the role, and make not just a cougar film, but the cougar film, spoofing Hollywood’s attempt at bringing the MILF genre to a prime-time audience.
“Who doesn’t like a seriously hot woman over 30?” said Drew Rosenfeld, creative director for Hustler Video. “Even if no one’s really seen the original show, we knew we couldn’t go wrong making a parody called This Ain’t Cougar Town XXX.
“By now, most TV shows and even some movies know that they’re fair game for being parodied,” Rosenfeld added. “So when the network announced a while back that it was putting out a new show with the name ‘cougar’ in the title, well, it’s almost like they were asking for us to do it.”
The Hustler Video parody, This Ain’t Cougar Town XXX, follows the day-to-day life of team cougar leader Jules, played by Dylan Ryder. From having cocktails poolside with best gal pal Ellie (Tory Lane) to duking it out with ex-husband stealer Laurie (Phoenix Marie), Jules and her many friends and lovers find themselves having a sinfully good time in Hustler Video’s latest parody.
