LOS ANGELES—Premier adult industry PR firm ThePRSMGroup has announced their first-time sponsorship of the 2016 Transgender Erotica Awards.
"I'm so thrilled to be a sponsor for this year's Transgender Erotica Awards," said ThePRSMGroup CEO Kelly Shibari. "The adult industry has always been at the forefront of showcasing the sexuality of diverse communities; so often, the work of those in niches have resulted in mainstream media picking up trends popularized in adult entertainment. The trans community is no exception; their vocal insistence to be accepted, and their extremely sex-positive performances, and the commitment by each performer to their brand, is exactly why they should be celebrated. ThePRSMGroup honors all of the trans performers and companies who support their work, and we look forward to celebrating with all of the winners in March."
“I've been a huge fan of Kelly's for years so having her support something that we do is awesome as she brings so much to everything she's involved in,” added Grooby owner Steven Grooby. “I think many people in the adult industry are appreciating that trans performers and trans erotica are an integral part of the industry and are finding more places to work together. Having someone like Kelly Shibari sponsoring and involved with these awards just helps promote that so I thank her very much.”
Also marking a huge presence at this year's TEAs will be transsexual production company Trans500, which will present its Trans500 Model of the Year award at the show. Trans500 was a sponsor in 2014 and decided to be more involved with joining sites like Shemale Strokers and Grooby Productions presenting a cash prize and trophy to the model that fans and company select as their favorite of 2015. She will also receive a sash and an all expense trip to Miami for a paid shoot.
"We are excited to be part of the Transgender Erotica Awards again and continue to celebrate all the beautiful transsexual women who make the genre so successful. We will have veteran performer Wendy Williams present the award and we look forward to working with the winner all year long at industry events and upcoming projects," said Trans500 producer Josh Stone.
