RESEDA, Calif.—Tammy Sands is the recipient of six nominations for the 2013 AVN Awards. A photographer and filmmaker, Sands is renowned for her glamorous portrayals of adult models.
Sands' website, VIPArea.com, is nominated for Best Photography Website, while three of her movies for lesbian studio Girlfriends Films combine for five additional nods.

“I’m beside myself with excitement,” Sands said. “Receiving a trophy from AVN last year blew my mind, but I’m inclined to say these six nominations are just as good. It lets me know it wasn’t merely a wonderful dream. There is an ever-growing market for the types of movies and photos I love to shoot.”

In January 2012, Sands captured her first AVN award. Her movie, All Natural: Glamour Solos 1 was named Best Solo Release.
