Talent Testing Service has issued the following announcement for publication:
MIAMI—Talent Testing Services, Inc. (TTS) has been monitoring the developments regarding the recent syphilis outbreak in the industry. As part of our ongoing approach to offer the best and most sensitive assays in the industry, our policy has always been to provide “Whole Blood Donor” grade approved screening assays and testing algorithms. These assays and testing algorithms are the once used to protect our nation’s blood supply.
The RPR test is the standard in the industry to detect syphilis. As part of the testing algorithm, if a reactive result arises, a follow-up confirmatory treponema test is performed in order to confirm the result. It is also recommended that if a case arises where recent exposure with a carrier has been identified (first generation), the RPR in conjunction with the confirmatory treponema test and preemptive treatment should be the prudent course of action. This syphilis screening algorithm is what is recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
The health and well being of the talent, as well as the continued success of the adult industry will always be at the forefront of what we provide.
