Sunset Thomas Attends Pet Benefit

GOODSPRINGS, Nev.—Sunset Thomas joined Kelly Gami (Quiet Riot) and a host of other rockers for the FUPI (Foreclosed Upoin Pets) benefit at the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, Nev. April 17.

The event generated the largest crowd the Pioneer has seen in years and raised the largest amount of money in FUPI history. Four abandoned dogs found new homes as well.

“I’m an animal lover,” Thomas said. “The Pioneer was pumping! Hundreds of folks were partying—motorcycles everywhere—Outta The Black and other bands blasted—it was so much fun and for such a good cause.

“Goodsprings is such a funky, out-of-the-way little town and the Pioneer Saloon has so much history. When Toxixx Terzz approached me to lend a hand I decided I’d give the rest of my body too!”

Foreclosed Upon Pets, Inc. (FUPI) is a nonprofit 501 organization dedicated to the rescue of domesticated animals that have been abused and/or abandoned by their owners as a result of economic hardship, including home foreclosure, loss of employment, insufficient income, or death and illness.
