Sunny Lane Teams Up with Rising Star PR

VENICE, CA — Adult performer Sunny Lane has teamed up with Rising Star PR to promote her brand as she moves into the next phase of her career. Even after putting in a decade in the adult entertainment industry, starring in over 200 titles, and winning handfuls of impressive awards, including Miss Freeones 2009, 2007 AVN Awards Best POV, and 2008 Déjà Vu Contract Feature Dancer, the all-natural beauty is still going stronge.

“Sunny Lane is one of the biggest and most recognizable stars working in the adult industry today,” Rising Star PR owner Devan Cypher said. “It’s an honor to be working together to promote her already popular brand. We’re looking forward to helping her shine and get the attention she deserves in 2015!”

Born in Georgia with early aspirations of Olympic figure skating, Sunny Lane has become the quintessential “Girl Next Door, Turned Hardcore.” When foot surgery left her unable to skate, the blonde turned to feature dancing and was instantly popular. In fact, Lane was named Deja Vu’s Showgirl of the Year in 2004. She was also Déjà Vu’s first time ever contract feature star.

After appearing on HBO’s reality television show Cathouse, she met Playboy Radio head Ferrell Hirsh, who invited her to appear as a regular on Playboy radio, do various Playboy shows, including Night Calls and Whore Talk and ultimately appear in Playboy Magazine’s Lingerie Issue. Soon after, Lane started shooting adult movies and was recognized immediately with 2006 AVN nominations for Best New Starlet and Best Actress for Dark Angels 2: Bloodlines.

An intimate interview on ABC News Primetime gave the star mainstream recognition and she soon appeared on several television shows, including ABC Primetime, Geraldo at Large, The Howard Stern Show, Playboy TV and Radio, E!, FUSE, HBO’s Cathouse, Showtime’s Family Business, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Cinemax, FOX, Opie and Anthony, Adam Carolla, Comedy Central, and TMZ.

She has also graced the covers of magazines, including People, Playboy, Hustler, Club International, and Penthouse, just to name a few. But Lane is no stranger to mainstream either, having made appearances in films and television programs including Don Jon, Guido, Naked Ambition, Look, Midgets and Mascots, Mommy and Me, Tribute to Big Red, Soup of the Day, Chillerama, and Homo Erectus.

In 2010 she directed her first feature, Strap-on Sunny for Tom Byron Pictures. Later, she starred in Erica McLean’s Alice, and food truck feature, The Flying Pink Pig, which made national headlines when legal troubles erupted from the food truck’s original owner.

Lane is currently attending school to become a Sexologist and working on a new website. The star continues to appear in adult and mainstream movies, feature dance, and entertain clients and fans live and in person. Additionally, she looks forward to more opportunities to host live events.
