‘Star Trek: TNG’ Parody Generates Big Buzz

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Since the wrap of principle photography, Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody is generating massive amounts of media praise and anticipation.

The behind-the-scenes photos of Revolution X and Digital Sin’s parody are becoming an internet sensation, with leading Trekkie, sci-fi, pop culture, comic and entertainment websites reporting on the movie. Even lesbian site AfterEllen.com featured Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody. Gawker Media’s io9.com and Fleshbot.com, as well as BleedingCool.com were all on set reporting to their collective millions of readers.

“Because of the Trekkie culture and lore, we knew it would be important to allow media on set to witness every aspect of the creation of our movie,” director Sam Hain said. “Star Trek fans are extremely detail orientated, and we wanted to make sure they saw how much attention and pride we put into the parody. Most of us in the crew and cast are die-hard Trekkies. We took this movie very seriously, making it as authentic as possible.”

“[Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody] is a loving tribute and unofficial sequel to a classic TNG episode starring some major Trekkie porn stars, not to mention an uncannily convincing Jean-Luc Picard impersonator,” wrote Alasdair Wilkins of io9.com. “Everything looks amazing. They built an entire 360-degree set for the Enterprise Bridge, and the costumes and wigs really evoke the look of The Next Generation's character. They even brought in a renowned Patrick Stewart impersonator from London to bring Captain Picard to life.”

This film is as accurate a depiction of Star Trek characters’ sex lives as you’re likely to find,” writes Patrick Kindlon of BleedingCool.com. “A true Trekkie, Hain has gone to great lengths to retain not only the feel of the series but also as many nuances as possible…The cast is surprisingly dead-on…In addition to being well cast, the talent is enthusiastic about the work.”

NerdBastards.com writer Luke Gallagher posted, “Does it live up to that naughty ‘lost episode’ you imagined it would be? Well, don’t ask me. I haven’t seen it. I’ll tell you what though, the sample pics on Fleshbot.com certainly live up to my nerd fantasy fulfillment. The uncannily convincing Jean-Luc Picard impersonator is reason enough to watch.” For the complete NerdBastards.com article, visit

Accompanied by exclusive XXX photos from Jeff Koga, Gram Ponante of Fleshbot.com reported, “We eagerly await [Sam Hain’s] just-wrapped porndaptation of Star Trek: The Next Generation…Long-smoldering romances suggested by the show (like that between Picard and Dr. Crusher-here played by Kimberly Kane in another red wig) are played out with the poignancy all fanboys appreciate.”

As part of The Weekly Geek feature on AfterEllen.com, Danielle Riendeau wrote, “Not only is this new movie to take place on an amazing-looking set, with a few dead-on look-alikes of actual TNG cast members, its actually being made by hardcore trekkies…All joking aside, that sounds like something I’d actually really like to watch. Imagine—the awesomeness and inventiveness of Trek, only with sex! Everyone’s who’s ever ventured off to find some ‘slash’ fan fiction should admit that right now. With all of the authentic references thrown in (Tasha Yar, Geordi’s holo-crush Leah Brahms, Yesterday’s Enterprise, etc.), this sounds like the real McCoy.”
