CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Smash Pictures has created a new 3D logo effect that will play before all its new movies and trailers without the need for special glasses.
The new logo was developed with 3D motion graphics combined with Dolby sound to create an impactful image. The Smash logo is pictured crashing through glass.
The first movie to display this new effect will be Registered Nurse 3 next month.
“We're quite pleased to reveal our new 3D logo,” Smash Pictures Vice President Stuart Wall said. “Before our trailers and new movies will be our new 3D explosion Smash logo. This brings us into the future with the glass breaking and exploding with the feel of it coming actually at you.”
