LOS ANGELES—AVN Award-winning adult star Seth Gamble has been cast in Suicide Squad XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, as the evil Aussie villain Captain Boomerang, a role that will give the trained performer another opportunity to stretch his acting chops beyond porn swordsmanship.
“Seth is truly a fantastic actor,” said Braun, who directed Gamble in many high-profile roles. “His stellar turn as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars XXX is one of the main reasons why the movie became the highest-selling adult DVD of all time, and his performance as Prince Edward in Cinderella XXX was not only hilarious, but also outstandingly nuanced. He is driven, committed and genuinely talented, and I am extremely proud to have him join the cast of my biggest movie of the year.”
As a testament of his commitment, Gamble even went as far as to privately hire an Australian dialect coach for two weeks, in order to properly inhabit the supervillain's character and sound fully convincing as Boomerang.
“I am super excited and grateful for this opportunity, and very much intrigued by the complexity of this role,” said Gamble, who is growing some “friendly mutton chops” for the part. “Axel is one of the best directors in the business, and definitely the most demanding, and he doesn’t take his casting choices lightly, so I’m looking forward to making him and my fans proud with my performance.”
The Wicked Comix superhero parody, which also stars Kleio Valentien, Asa Akira and Riley Steele, will be released on August 5—the same day as the Warner Bros. mainstream counterpart.
