NEW YORK CITY – Responding to requests from customers to open earlier on the weekends, the party at Rick’s Cabaret/NYC now gets started at noon on Saturdays and Sundays with a weekend brunch for $15. The club is the flagship of the upscale gentlemen’s club group held by publicly traded Rick’s Cabaret International, Inc. (NASDAQ:RICK).
“For many years we opened at 4:00 pm on the weekends, but our customers have asked us to get things going earlier, so we are granting them their wish,” said Ken Sistrunk, general manager of the club that Playboy.com calls “the #1 strip club in New York City.” He said the addition of a weekend brunch should also make a visit to the club more enjoyable to couples.
The three-story cabaret with a rooftop smoking deck is located at 50 West 33rd Street, across from the Empire State Building and down the street from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station.
As an added weekend enticement, Rick’s Cabaret will serve a $15 prix fixe lunch from noon to 4:00 pm that includes a Mimosa, Bloody Mary, Mohito or other signature cocktails. There will be no cover charge until 7:00 pm. Brunch choices include a variety of salads, Eggs Benedict, whole wheat pancakes, croquet monsieur, hamburger and even mac and cheese. Drinks are $8 until 8:00 pm.
“Not only will the food be great because it is prepared in our Zagat-rated kitchen, but the view during the brunch will be the best in New York City with our dozens of gorgeous entertainers strutting their stuff,” Mr. Sistrunk said.
