LOS ANGELES—Former Digital Playground contract star Raven Alexis is featured in the starring role of head cheerleader Betty in the parody of the classic comedy, Revenge of the Nerds. This is her first feature film being released since leaving Digital.
The release of The Official Revenge of the Nerds Parody from 3rd Degree Films, directed by Spock Buckton and Brian Bangs of Popporn.com, is another indication of what promises to be a tremendous year for the now freelance starlet.
“Filming the Revenge of the Nerds parody was so much fun, and a great project to start my year with,” Alexis said. “Spock Buckton and Brian Bangs are great directors, the entire cast and crew was a blast to work with, and this was the perfect film to commence my foray into parodies, something I’ve been anxious to do for a long time!”
Starting the year off with the win of three AVN Awards and an XBIZ nomination for Best New Starlet, Alexis has busied herself with the filming of parodies and feature films, as well as gonzo releases for such companies as Brazzers, Bang Bros and Naughty America.
She has also devoted her time to crossing over to mainstream, filming for Showtime and HBO. Her most notable mainstream experience to date was filming for the Cartoon Network’s Childrens Hospital, alongside such stars as Henry Winkler and Malin Akerman. The episode she appears in airs later this summer on Cartoon Network.
