Raging Stallion Slashes Prices on Hardcore Fetish Titles; Announces Release of 'All Hands On Deck'

SAN FRANCISCO — Raging Stallion Studios has announced that it is cutting the suggested retail price for all extreme hardcore products to $39.99, a reduction of $30 from the previous SRP. All fisting and fetish titles produced by the studio will now be sold with this new suggested price point, including all new fisting releases and all library fisting titles. Mainstream titles will retain their current price structure (SRP between $49.99 and $69.99). The first movie to be released with the new recession-friendly SRP will be All Hands on Deck, scheduled for a street date of July 3. All Hands on Deck features RSS fisting stars Matthieu Paris, Sky Devil, Antonio Biaggi, Andrew Barclay and newcomer Kain Warn. It was directed by GayVN award winners Tony Dimarco and Chris Ward.

“We feel that the fetish market has changed dramatically over the past two or three years,” noted Raging Stallion Studios president Chris Ward. “To take fisting as an example, there are so many companies producing this content that the market really is flooded. To be competitive and retain our position as the top supplier of fisting erotica, we have decided to become aggressively competitive in terms of quality and pricing. We have long owned a big share of this market, and we intend to keep it.” Historically fetish movies have commanded a high premium, but in today’s tough market consumers are demanding a readjustment of niche price structures. Raging Stallion is also boosting production of fetish content. Last year the studio released five fetish feature titles; 2009 will see a doubling of this number.

Ward noted that a large share of income from specialized fetish titles comes from the company’s many membership sites and its VOD network. This new price structure further shifts focus towards the web side of the business. Raging Stallion supplies all of the content to Gunzblazing’s FistingCentral.com, the largest gay fisting membership site on the web. Both Raging Stallion Studios and Gunzblazing are part of the AEBN network of companies.
