LOS ANGELES—When Popporn's Spock Buckton and Brian Bangs first approached Goodnight Media owner Lee Roy Myers with the concept behind Man vs. Pussy, Myers thought the idea was one of the most insane pitches he's ever heard. He also thought it was one of the most brilliant and original he's ever heard as well.
Apparently Myers wasn't the only one who bought what Popporn was selling. The reviews are in and the critics are digging it.
Adult film site XCritic awarded Man vs. Pussy with its sought after 5-Star XCritic Pick.
"Man vs. Pussy is one of my favorite titles of the year so far, combining lots of humor, hot sex, and all sorts of entertaining exchanged between the cast and crew to make it stand out from the pack,” XCritic’s Don Houston said. “Man vs. Pussy showed that new studios truly have something to offer than just imitating the big boys, Goodnight Media already beating them at their own game by providing quality porn over generic offerings few of us care to see, so give it a look."
Fleshbot, the venerable adult site in the Gawker family of pop culture media holdings was blown away by the film.
"Man vs. Pussy is one of the funniest things ever produced by the adult industry, it has some of my favorite people in it, and it deserves a place of honor on the shelf of every porn consumer in America,” Fleshbot’s Ottimo Massimo said. “To be perfectly honest, I rarely watch every last second of the porn that I review. There's lots of fast forwarding and chapter skipping that goes on because—I hate to say it—if you've seen one porn, you can guess what goes on in the rest of them. But because Man vs. Pussy is such a unique film, I vowed to not skip around and slack off."
In Man vs. Pussy the directors challenged top woodsman Anthony Rosano to shoot five individual sex scenes (and five loads of cum) within 12 hours with five of porn's biggest stars. Fans will watch as he not only tries to attempt this sexual feat, but also tries to memorize and perform some of the most hilarious porno dialogue ever scripted.
