LOS ANGELES—Adult star Penny Pax, the 2013 AVN-nominated Best New Starlet, continues her awards season run with six big nominations for the upcoming AVN Awards.
AVN announced the nominations for its 2015 Awards late last week, and Penny Pax's honors include noms for:
Best Actress - Wetwork (Vivid Entertainment), directed by Eli Cross
Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene - Cinderella XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, (Wicked Fairy Tales); Carter Cruise, Samantha Saint & Penny Pax
Best Girl/Girl Sex Scene - 24 XXX: An Axel Braun Parody (Wicked Pictures); Penny Pax & Alektra Blue
Best Group Sex Scene - King James (Zero Tolerance Entertainment); James Deen, Veruca James, Dani Daniels, Karlie Montana, Maddy O'Reilly & Penny Pax
Best Oral Sex Scene - Cinderella XXX: An Axel Braun Parody (Wicked Fairy Tales); Carter Cruise & Penny Pax

One half of Pax's 2015 AVN nominations derive from the movies of legendary director Axel Braun, whose efforts have landed him an extraordinary 55 AVN Award nominations this time out.
"Penny Pax has been in tons of my movies, to the point where I always tell her she's an unofficial ABP contract girl," said Braun. "What she brings to the table is not only the outstanding level of her sexual performances, but also a genuine attachment to every project, top notch acting, and impeccable professionalism. Among the 12 other nominations which have a Penny Pax connection are Anal Candy Disco Chicks (Mental Beauty/Girlfriends), directed by fellow Spiegler Girl Bonnie Rotten, which snagged a nom for Best Anal Release; 24 XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, which was tapped for Best Parody; Wetwork, which is up for both Best Drama and Best Director (Eli Cross); and Jacky St. James' Our Father (Digital Sin Tabu Tales) which earned a nomination in the brand new category of Best Taboo Relations Movie.
And, as if her multiple AVN Award nominations weren't enough, on the day the nominations were announced, Pax was named AVN.com's Porn Star of the Day.
The adult industry's biggest extravaganza, the AVN Awards will be hosted by adult superstars Alexis Texas and Tommy Pistol at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. The show is the culmination of the Adult Entertainment Expo, scheduled for Jan. 21-24 at the iconic venue.
