VALENICA, Calif.—Adult performer turned radio personality Nyomi Banxxx and adult director/performer Lexington Steele are offering dates with fans as prizes for the Kickstarter.com fund-raising campaign to benefit online radio station ChocolateRadio.net.
“Our fans have been the heart of Chocolate Radio from the beginning, and we wanted to give them a chance spend some quality time with us as a way to give thanks and reward them for donating to our effort,” said Banxxx, Chocolate Radio’s founder and one of its on-air personalities.
“This is a great opportunity for fans to get know us and hang out with us, while contributing to a great cause. There’s nothing like Chocolate Radio out there and each donation will help us grow and continue our outstanding programming,” added Steele, who hosts the sports-oriented 4th and Goal program on Chocolate Radio.
The new prizes are available to backers who donate at least $1,500 to the effort. The prizes include:
- Dine with Banxxx at one of her favorite restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Two dinner dates are available for donations of at least $1,500.
- Spend a Sunday watching football with adult superstar Lexington Steele at a bar in the Los Angeles area. Two prizes are available for donations of at least $1,500.
- Attend a professional sporting event in Los Angeles with Steele – limo service provided for choice of baseball, basketball, hockey, or soccer games. One prizes is available for a donation of at least $2,500.
With a goal of $30,000, the Kickstarter campaign will run until October 10. Donors can vie for a variety of rewards for supporting the effort, including autographed posters and calendars, on-air shout outs, the chance to co-host a show, and more. Once the money is raised, the funds will go toward acquiring top-of-the-line sound equipment and a new telephone system to allow listeners to hear and be heard with the best possible reception. Funds will also go toward needed software media outlets Live365 and Ustream.tv, and for television cameras for audiences to watch the shows via Ustream.
Known for her work as an adult performer, Banxxx transitioned into radio as a popular host three years ago with shows on Playboy Radio and Sirius/XM Satellite Radio. On the heels of that success, the entrepreneur established ChocolateRadio.net to provide an eclectic mix of lifestyle advice, news, sports, sex, music, female empowerment, and spiritual exploration topics for its adult listeners.
Banxxx created the ChocolateRadio.net flagship show, The Live Show, during her tenure at Playboy Radio on Sirius/XM. On the fast-paced, segment-driven show, Banxxx shares her opinion on topics including sex, gossip, sports, social issues, and everything in between.
