LOS ANGELES—2011 Penthouse Pet of the Year and 2012 AVN Crossover Star Nominee Nikki Benz appears in the new music video, 'Lose Yourself,' from the mainstream movie, My Trip Back from the Dark Side, which is currently in post production. The music video is directed by Shane Stanley, a multi-Emmy Award winning filmmaker best known for executive producing Gridiron Gang, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for Sony Pictures, and directing Bret Michael's (Poison) music videos.
Benz does a cameo as a feature dancer in the new movie (also directed by Stanley), which tells the true story of a man who had a successful film career but after falling on hard times can only find employment working in the adult entertainment industry as a means to provide for his family. The official 'Lose Yourself' music video from the movie by Tommy Fields has just been released on YouTube.
Benz is also celebrating her nomination this week by Exotic Dancer for 2012 Adult Movie Feature Entertainer of the Year. Other nominees are Alexis Texas, Belladonna, Joanna Angel, Kagney Linn Karter, Lexi Belle, Lisa Ann and Nikki Delano. The Awards will be handed out at the 20th Annual "Reunion" Exotic Dancer Expo, Aug. 26-29 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Nikki Benz is celebrating one of her best years in the business yet. Along with being the reigning Penthouse Pet of the Year, Nikki is one of only a handful of adult stars to be featured in a video game (Saints Row). She shot a cameo in Pain & Gain, directed by Michael Bay and starring Mark Wahlberg and the Rock. Last month, Howard Stern awarded her the title of the World's Strongest Naked Woman. Benz also joined forces with Vicky Vette in the VNA Network of websites, and has been feature dancing in the USA & Canada.
"2012 has been literally non-stop," said the star. "I love doing mainstream type stuff like movies and videos, so fans can see me stretching more than just my vagina (lol). That being said, being an adult star gave me the opportunities I am now getting in mainstream, so I am never going to forget my roots. I am in the process of supercharging my official site with all new stuff and rest assured I am going to be feature dancing as long as the fans want to continue seeing me get naked and entertain them on stage. The girls who were nominated as Feature Entertainer of the Year are amazing. I am just happy to be nominated with them."
