New Sensations Preps 'Seinfeld' Spoof

CHATSWORTH, Calif. —  Director Lee Roy Myers is prepping an X-rated parody of "Seinfeld" for New Sensations.

"The cast for Seinfeld: A XXX Parody is off the charts," said Myers, who directed parodies of "The Office" and "Scrubs" for New Sensations and scripted The Dirty Facts of Life for Oren Cohen. "It makes my job look easy when I get to work with an amazingly talented group who can pull off the hot sex and comedic acting. It just doesn’t get better than that."

New Sensations president Scott Taylor points out that the New Sensations parodies draw on television shows of more recent vintage than the "Three's Company" or "The Brady Bunch".

"Most of the parodies reach into the 1970s for inspiration," Taylor said. "We are taking a fresh approach to adult parodies and using shows that speak to the current genre. It is a formula that has been successful with our first parody of hit television show 'The Office' and we are excited to continue on this path."

Myers wrapped the XXX-rated spoof of "Scrubs" last week for a May 18 release. A video of actor Zach Braff discussing Scrubs: A XXX Parody on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" can be viewed here.

Seinfeld: A XXX Parody is set for a summer 2009 release.
