LAS VEGAS—Pole dancing champion Nakita Kash has wowed audiences around the United States in gentlemen's clubs and was a contestant on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. The 30-time title holder is now planning her next big competition—one to find her successor.
Kash is proud to announce Miss PoleChamp USA, with regional competitions beginning next week on the East Coast, continuing throughout February into March before advancing to the National Finals.
Up first is the Northeast Regional Feb. 9, at Platinum Premier in Worcester, Mass. Then on Feb. 11, Miss PoleChamp moves to Philadelphia to Christine’s Cabaret, and then two days later to On The Border in Franklin, Wisc.
"I have wanted to do something like this for a long time. In between gigs I went to many competitions over the last few years as a judge, assistant and/or coordinator,” Kash said. “I had competed so many times that I already knew what worked and didn't work on the competitors end, but I wanted to get my hands dirty behind the scenes to insure that I was making the right decisions in my competition process. With those experiences I put together the Miss Pole Champ USA format.”
Fans, clubs and media are encouraged to watch the Miss PoleChamp USA video now on YouTube here.
Beginning next week, contestants around the U.S. will compete in varied regions, leading up to the national competition to be held in March in Tampa, Fla. With the regional breakdown being locked to the North, South, East, West, Midwest, Northwest, Southeast and Southwest, dancers anxious to compete shouldn’t have to travel too far to do so.
The regional winners will receive a cash prize, a trip to the nationals, and a bevy of goodies, besides the regional title.
"Everyone involved has something to bring to the table that will benefit the winners,” Kash said. “I am thinking from a pole dancers perspective every step of the way especially when putting together the rules and scoring methods. I am even hand selecting each judging panel."
The national winner will also participate in a national feature dancing tour booked exclusively by A-List Features and Continental Feature Agency. Miss PoleChamp USA is proudly sponsored by Tite Grip, the leading antiperspirant to increase hand and foot grip.
