NEW YORK CITY—Hot off the heels of her feature dance debut at members-only Manhattan club HQNYC, Pakistani Muslim porn star Nadia Ali has signed with A-List Features for representation.
“I’m so excited to embark on this next chapter of my career in adult entertainment,” said Nadia. “Dancing has always been a passion of mine and I’m thrilled that A-List Features, the top agency in the field, has signed me. As a first-generation American from Pakistan, The Daily Beast ran a piece about how Ali pushes religious boundaries in the name of adult entertainment. In the interview, the 24-year-old shares her religious background, her journey into the adult industry, and if, in fact, she is banned from Pakistan as a result of performing in adult films. She also discusses death threats, her family, culture vs. religion, feminism (particularly for Islamic women), and more. To read Nadia Ali’s complete interview, click here.
Ali, who caused controversy in her home country by performing wearing the ceremonial headscarf, has also received death threats for her work.
