LOS ANGELES—Get ready to "give yourself over to absolute pleasure," because Wicked Girls Jessica Drake, Kirsten Price, Alektra Blue and Kaylani Lei are appearing at the Rocky Horror Picture Show 35th Anniversary Convention this weekend in downtown Los Angeles.
Yes, the greatest science fiction horror musical ever made has turned 35, and lipstick and lace will rule the day as Wicked's quartet of 2010 AVN Award winners slip into corsets and garters to promote Brad Armstrong’s upcoming blockbuster parody The Rocki Whore Picture Show.
This weekend's event will commemorate the cult classic’s original 1975 release, and is certain to be the ultimate celebration of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and its incredible fan following. Wicked Pictures is an official sponsor of the three day convention, which will include Rocky Horror Picture Show and Shock Treatment screenings, Rocky memorabilia vendors, A Rocky Horror Costume Pageant, The Rocky Prom, cast performances, autograph sessions and much more.
In addition to sponsoring and appearing at the convention, Wicked will be holding a talent search for extras to perform in their XXX parody, and will be offering a chance for one lucky contestant to appear in their production's massive Time Warp Orgy, which is slated to feature over 12 performers.
In addition to Drake, Lei, Price and Blue, noted actor Barry Bostwick who played Brad Majors in the original RHPS, and some of the stars of the official sequel, Shock Treatment, will also be on hand to meet the fans, answer questions and sign autographs.
A well-known figure in the RHPS universe, event organizer Bernie Bregman of SinsCon is only too happy to welcome Wicked to the fold.
"The SinsCon team is extremely excited about our partnership with Wicked Pictures,” he said. “We feel their cutting edge attitude and attention to detail are representative of many important aspects of the Rocky Horror philosophy, and they will definitely bring an added Hollywood atmosphere and sex appeal to what will already be a great weekend of exciting events."
While some may consider the decision to make a XXX parody of such a hallowed phenomenon to be controversial, the enthusiastic Bregman is quick to give the project his blessing, stating, “It's great that an adult film company finally decided to do an up-to-date parody of this cult classic that everyone's seen and loved. We can't wait to see it!"
