Lexi Lowe To Host 2015 Paul Raymond Awards

LONDON—Paul Raymond Publications, the U.K.’s biggest and best selling publisher of adult magazines, confirmed U.K. adult star Lexi Lowe will host the 2015 Paul Raymond awards.

“It was a no brainer to ask Lexi to host this years awards show,” said Mark Hassell, head of marketing and event co-ordinator at Paul Raymond. “Lexi has been a permanent fixture at our awards shows since the beginning, from being trophy girl at our first ever awards to walking away last year with the Paul Raymond Girl of the Year award.

“What really sold Lexi to us as a host was the amazing job she did for us last year presenting our behind the scenes show and interviewing the winners which was televised on Showcase TV on Sky. Not to mention she is adored by the readers of our magazines,” Hassell continued.

Lowe will not be hosting the awards alone: In keeping with the previous years, Paul Raymond are searching for a mainstream co-host to share the stage with the adult film star. Last year the awards ceremony was hosted by The Apprentice and Celebrity Big Brother star Luisa Zissman alongside top comedian Russell Kane. This year Paul Raymond look to capitalise on the success of the 2014 awards by signing up another household name.

Social media selfie queen Karen Danczuk has publicly turned down an offer to co-host the awards despite defending viewing porn and standing by her husband, Labour MP Simon Danczuk, who was recently caught up in a media storm after it was revealed he had favorited a tweet from a hardcore porn site on Twitter. Offers to co-host the awards have also been extended to former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson and Inbetweeners star James Buckley amongst others.

“I’m honored to be hosting this year's Paul Raymond Awards. The awards get bigger and better every year and i’m so excited to be involved. I can’t wait to find out who I will be sharing the stage with on the night although I have put a request in for Benedict Cumberbatch!” Lexi said.

The awards ceremony which has been moved from its previous venue to the iconic ballroom of Cafe de Paris in London will take place on Thursday, Nov. 5, and will be attended by the biggest names the U.K. industry has to offer including the hottest models and performers alongside celebrity personalities and industry professionals.

Award categories and nominees will be announced shortly.
