LOS ANGELES—Writer/director Adam Rifkin’s award winning indie movie about characters under surveillance, Look, has now become a TV show. The show premieres on Showtime Oct. 10 at midnight and Kelly Divine appears in it.
In a scene in the debut episode, Divine plays an edgy East Coast stripper. In Episode 9, she has a scene with Isis Love, who also plays a stripper. Divine argues with a club owner and tries to appear sober.
“It’s always great to step out and do mainstream projects, and more are definitely on the way,” Divine said. “I really enjoy playing characters that are very different from me, and my character in Look is just that. Acting is a love of mine and I hope everyone will tune in and enjoy the show.”
If you’d like to see more of Divine and meet her in person, the next chance to do so will be at eXXXotica in Edison, N.J. from Nov. 5-7. Divine will be signing autographs and have DVDs, photos and one-of-a-kind merchandise for sale.
