CANOGA PARK, Calif.—Zero Tolerance Entertainment contract star Kagney Linn Karter won XRCO’s 2010 New Starlet Award at the April 29 ceremony held at the Highlands in Hollywood. The 26th annual XRCO (X-Rated Critics Organization) Awards honors the best performers, directors and films in the adult industry.
“I’m honored to be named the New Starlet, especially in the company of so many amazing performers who were also nominated with me. I’m working really hard and I’m so happy people love what I’m doing!” exclaimed Karter.
Karter beat out tough competition, which included bombshells Angelina Armani, Gracie Glam, Tanner Mayes and Riley Steele. What helped Kagney secure the win? “I think it’s a combination of her attitude, her looks, her actions, and I think she has a great industry name—a very memorable name,” said Dirty Bob, chairman of the XRCO. “It was a close race this year, but she pulled through and won.”
The XRCO Awards is the second longest-running adult entertainment award ceremony, after the AVN Awards. Members vote on directors, films, and stars from movies released from January 1 to December 31 of the calendar year.
