WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Wicked Pictures performer/director Jessica Drake will hold a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” session on Friday, October 11. Each question asked by fans during the AMA will help raise funds for Team Wicked in the 29th Annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles. The walk takes place Sunday, October 13, in West Hollywood, California.
“Ask Me Anything” with Jessica Drake will start at 2 pm PDT on Reddit. A link to her AMA will be available via Twitter. "We're getting so close to reaching and even surpassing our goal for #TEAMWICKED this year,” said Drake. “Hosting a Reddit AMA online is going to be a great way to push our efforts over the top! Bring your questions, everyone – I’ll be ready to answer each and every one of you! Pitch in to support this important cause, and get to chat with me at the same time!"
Team Wicked was formed last year by Drake, who has walked the past four years. The group raised more than $18,000 for LA County AIDS organizations in 2013, qualifying it as a Gold Team in 2014. This year, Team Wicked hopes to raise more than $20,000 and is offering a variety of giveaways as incentive for fans and industry peers to donate, including an opportunity for those contributing $500 or more to participate in AIDS Walk Los Angeles as a member of Team Wicked.
Also holding AMAs to raise funds for TEAM WICKED are AVN Female Performer of the Year Asa Akira and multi-award winning Wicked Pictures director Brad Armstrong. Akira and Armstrong will announce their times on social media to fans. drake, Akira, and Armstrong will be joined on Sunday, October 13 by Team Wicked walkers Kaylani Lei, Dana DeArmond, Kylie Ireland, Steven St. Croix, and Brandy Aniston. AIDS Walk Los Angeles has drawn more than a half-million participants, who have collectively raised more than $72 million in its 27 years. The event, which has served as a model of grassroots fundraising and community activism for organizations across the United States, is sponsored by AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA). It is dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by HIV disease, reducing the incidence of HIV infection, and advocating for fair and effective HIV-related public policy.
