MARINA DEL REY, CA – James Deen will be exhibiting at the 2013 Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) in Las Vegas, January 16 - 19. The popular adult performer will have his own booth (#714) in Muse Hall at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where he will greet fans, sign autographs, and sell merchandise.
While at the expo, Deen will sell merchandise available through his upcoming online store, JamesDeenStore.com. The site officially launches towards the end of January.
Deen states, “I’m looking forward to meeting fans at AVN. They’ve been so supportive and I’m excited to let everyone know what I’m up to in 2013, such as my store and membership site.”
The 2013 expo marks AEE’s 15th anniversary. AEE will showcase a lineup of adult performers, trade seminar programs, stage shows, musical performances, and a first look at the cutting-edge technology behind some of the most innovative sex toys and novelties on the market today.
The expo culminates with the 30th anniversary of the AVN Awards, during which Deen is nominated 18 times. His nominations include Male Performer of the Year, Crossover Star of the Year, and Best Supporting Actor, as well as nominations for Boy/Girl, Three-Way, POV, and Most Outrageous Sex Scene.
In 2012, Dean captured the attention of the mainstream media, performing with Lindsay Lohan in director Paul Schrader’s “The Canyons. In February of the same year, ABC Nightline aired the feature “Porn’s Boy Next Door,” which discussed Deen’s popularity among young women. His appeal to the young female audience was reflected in interviews with leading female pop culture websites XOJane.com and Jezebel.com, as well as in mainstream publications and websites including GQ, Hollywood Reporter, US Magazine, New York Times, CNN.com and CNBC.com.
Despite his mainstream success, Deen maintains his loyalty to the adult industry, which he calls “a dream job.”
In his career, Deen has come from Unsung Swordsman of the Year at the X-rated Critics Organization in 2008 to AVN and XRCO Male Performer of the Year in 2009. He has also earned three other XRCO awards.
