SAN FRANCISCO—Good Vibrations' sister company, Good Releasing, was recently honored by PorYes, the Feminist Porn Award in Europe for its explicit-education film, Gush: The Official Guide to the G-Spot and Female Ejaculation.
The famed “Oyster Award” will be presented on October 15 in Berlin to films that exemplify the principles of feminist porn. PorYes was founded by Sexclusivitaeten, the first women-oriented sex enterprise and sexual communication centre in Europe, together with the Freudenfluss network, with the goal of supporting positive sexual images that empower and excite women. Their criteria includes the portrayal of authentic female pleasure, ethical work conditions, the inclusion of diverse bodies and genders, and the participation of women in the production of the film as producers, directors, or camerawomen.
Female-directed and penned and hosted by staff sexologist, Dr. Carol Queen, Gush features real-life couples, adult stars and first-time performers in intimate explicit settings. With intense chemistry and communication, the Pleasure-Ed Series doesn’t just describe how to have better sex, it shows it too. Nominated for the 2010 AVN “Best New Video Production Company” Award, Good Vibrations’ sister company Good Releasing offers its diverse line of educational films including Heads Up: the Official Guide to Fellatio, and Going Down: the Official Guide to Cunnilingus. All titles are available for retail purchase at all Good Vibrations stores and at its website or online streaming.
The third film in the Pleasure-Ed series of explicit sex education movies penned and hosted by Queen; Gush features high production values and genuine enthusiasm. The high-quality feature runs 90 minutes and combines crucial information with searing sex scenes that help the viewer find their own sexual style and enjoy it with confidence. Directed and edited by Jackie Strano and Shar Rednour of S.I.R. Productions, Gush is lauded for its fine aesthetic sense. The world premiere screening of Gush took place May 5 at the Roxie Cinema in San Francisco.
Nominated for 2010 AVN Awards’ Best New Video Production Company, Good Vibrations’ sister company Good Releasing offers various lines of edgy, alternative, and educational films that provide a exciting option for people looking for original alternatives to mainstream porn. Representing independent artists creating authentic and diverse erotic content, Good Releasing presents three video production lines, Reel Queer Productions, HeartCore Films and the Pleasure-Ed Series.
