LOS ANGELES—Adult broadcast industry luminary Glenn King will be moderating a panel this week at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. The panel takes place on January 20 and will be titled “Ask a Niche Performer.” Panelists are slated to be fetish performer Daisy Ducati, BBW Busty Cookie and transgendered performer Chelsea Poe.
According to the AEE website, “There are many big-name performers in the adult industry, but there are just as many performers who are popular among a select group of fans. Join these niche performers as they talk about the challenges and rewards that come with a specialized porn career.”
King commented on the panel, saying, “The world of porn has changed over the years. Back in the VHS/DVD era, fans had to purchase an entire DVD and then look for the scene or performer who fit their specific interest. But now because the internet, people can find exactly what they are looking for. This has created huge opportunities for performers who specialize, such as transgendered, BBW and other fetishes. We will talk about what challenges these performers face, what turns them on, and what recommendations they have for new performers.
The panel will take place January 20, from 3:30 to 4 p.m. in Vinyl Nightclub at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, taking place January 20-23 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.
