CHATSWORTH, Calif.—The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) was selected to receive a gift of $1,000 from Girlfriends Films, on behalf of gorgeous adult performer RayVeness. The donation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is the May selection for Girlfriends Films' monthly charity program. Past charity recipients have included Lambda Legal, Muscular Dystrophy Association, NPR, Cancer Research Institute, the American Red Cross, and more. RayVeness' charity selection helps provide information and resources to law enforcement, parents, children, including child victims, and other professionals.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is a private, (501)(c)(3) nonprofit organization which was created in 1984. The mission of the organization is to serve as the nation's resource on the issues of missing and sexually exploited children. The organization provides information and resources to law enforcement, parents, children, including child victims, as well as other professionals.
Girlfriends Films calls on its strong community of fans and followers to join RayVeness in helping those in need. Donations of all sizes may be made directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children here.
"There is nothing in this world more precious to me than a child," said RayVeness. "Our children are our future, and they need our voices and our support. Far too many children suffer from abuse or neglect—abuses sometimes going on right next door, which people are afraid to report or becoming involved with. Many of these children have no one to turn to and are easily preyed upon by strangers offering them the happiness they long for, but then further abusing the child's trust. I choose to support the vulnerable children who don't have a voice."
"I have known about GFF charities since a few months after starting to work for Girlfriends Films, and I was excited to be called upon to choose my favorite charity!" she exclaimed. "As most of my fans may know, I actually retired from the adult business in 2011 to start my own music school for at-risk teens. So to have the honor to help raise awareness for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is amazing!"
"We are extremely excited to have RayVeness back performing for Girlfriends Films," stated Girlfriends Films Vice President Moose. "Part of what makes her such a great star is her generous and caring heart, which can be seen by her selection of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. We hope the donation will help raise awareness and change lives."
In 2009, RayVeness became the first contract star signed by Girlfriends Films. Having featured the mature brunette performer on a regular basis, Girlfriends Films made the decision to bring RayVeness aboard under contract.
After a brief retirement, RayVeness has returned to the adult industry. In April, she filmed several volumes of the hit series Pin-Up Girls for Girlfriends Films. Fans may find RayVeness clad in '40s vintage lingerie in the upcoming Pin-Up Girls: Volume 7.
Girlfriends Films has a long history of charitable contributions, having donated over $20,000 in 2011. Last year the company recently restructured its charity program from an annual end-of-year donation to an ongoing, monthly program. 2011 donations included Melissa Monet's choice of Planned Parenthood, Lily Cade's selection of Lambda Legal, Ryan Keely's pick of NPR, Trinity St. Clair's selection of Life 4 Paws, Jiz Lee's donation to a California girls organization, Dyanna Lauren's donation to Child Find of America, Cindy's selection of Cancer Research Institute, Jelena Jensen's selection of Best Friends Animal Society, and Samantha Ryan's choice of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. AVN Media founder Paul Fishbein kicked off the 2012 giving with a donation to Best Friend Animal Society, followed by Tanya Tate's gift to the National Breast Cancer Coalition, and AVN Senior Editor Mark Kernes' donation to the Guttmacher Institute.
