RESEDA, Calif.—Girlfriends Films set a historic record at the 2012 AVN Awards. AVN voters named Women Seeking Women the Best All-Girl Series for the fifth straight year. This marks the first time any adult studio has ever collected honors in the same category five years in a row. In addition to the milestone award, Girlfriends Films also received the trophy for Best Older Woman/Younger Girl Release (Mother-Daughter Exchange Club 17), Best Solo Release (Tammy Sands' All Natural: Glamour Solos), and MILF/Cougar Performer of the Year (contract star India Summer).

At last year's AVN Awards, Mother-Daughter Exchange Club 12 was recognized as the Best Older Woman/Younger Girl Release. This year's trophy in the category demonstrates the series dominance.
2011 was an amazing year for Girlfriends Films, which included record sales, two new and acclaimed series, notable industry accolades, the release of its 300th title, two distribution deals, the launch of its first membership site plus a foray into publishing.
Girlfriends Films recently published its first book—Lesbian Sex Positions—and will immediately embark on a full year of promotions, which extend beyond traditional markets. The success of its 2012 wall calendar has Girlfriends Films designing two collectable calendars for 2013.
