A number of Galaxy Publicity clients came home from the 2010 AVN Awards Show with something to celebrate, including Alexander Devoe (Best Ethnic Series—Black and Best Ethnic Series—Latin), Shawna Lenee (Unsung Starlet of the Year), Rebeca Linares (Best Threeway Sex Scene) and Thomas Ward (Best Non Sex Performance).
Galaxy also wants to congratulate X-Play and Adam & Eve for their win with Flight Attendants for Best Sex Comedy, which co-starred clients James Bartholet, Michelle Maylene, Misty Stone and former client Shyla Stylez; and X-Play and Hustler for their Best Parody win for Not The Cosbys XXX, which co-starred clients Misty Stone and Thomas Ward.
“I’m very honored for my win, and thank you to everyone at AVN,” Thomas Ward said.
“I want to thank AVN, and everyone involved in the voting; it was a great night and it’s been a great year, and I’m planning on more in 2010,” said Devoe.
“I was very excited about this award—thank you AVN, it’s a real honor,” stated Lenee.
“Everyone had a great time, and it was great to see the fans. We want to thank AVN/AEE, and especially our good friends Drew and his staff at I Love Vagina for having us at his fun and exciting booth,” Galaxy Publicity representatives stated in a press release.
The I Love Vagina booth hosted not only Galaxy Publicity but also a naughty confessional booth, Chronic Ice and Chronic Candy, Fresh Balls, PornStar Skates, and a Tom Jones impersonator from Imperial Palace. All the participating companies are affiliates of Drew Fin Kelson and Associates.
Galaxy Publicity clients who signed at the booth this week included Angelina Valentine, Eva Ellington, Cherry Ferretti and James Bartholet. Angelina Valentine also received an award from adult film critic Dr. Jay from www.xcritic.com for Must See Girl for 2010.
“I was really surprised and honored to receive this award from Dr. Jay. Thank you so much! I was so overwhelmed by this,” Valentine said.
“I had a blast, and I think this year was better than last year’s event” said Ferretti.
“Last year I was on the production end of the event, and this year I was here as talent, and I had a wicked good time,” stated Ellington.
Another Galaxy client, Simply Blown, had a very successful booth in the B2B section. “We did very well. We made some great sales and contacts and had a really fun time in Vegas, and at the parties and the awards show as well,” said Simply Blown owner Scott Sagelman. Simply Blown will be unveiling its new line of beautiful glass toys on Valentines 2010.
Galaxy clients who were signing at other booths included Alexander DeVoe and Nyomi Banxxx at the Jules Jordan booth, Sophie Dee at the Evil Angel booth, Misty Stone at the Elegant Angel booth, and Faye Reagan and Georgia Jones at the Bluebird booth. Yurizan Beltran, Shay Lynn and Laurie Vargas also were in attendance to meet fans.
