LOS ANGELES—Niche producer Forbidden Fruits Films received 16 AVN Award nominations last night during a gala Nominations Party thrown by AVN in Hollywood, California. The studio, created by the husband-and-wife team Jay and Jodi West, produces taboo-themed subject matter.
"A huge thank you to all our distributors, retail stores and online stores for making Forbidden Fruits Films a premiere studio of 2014, without you we would not be," said the studio in a statement issued Friday morning.
"Thank you to AVN for recognizing our hard work this year," it continued, "and a very special shout out to all our talent that made our movies a cut above the rest, you literally worked your asses off, and for that, we thank you."
