TAMPA, Fla.—Fetish Con has announced the workshop and seminar schedule for its fourteenth annual fetish industry and community trade show. Returning to the Hilton Tampa Downtown in Florida and sponsored byClips4Sale, the largest networking event for the fetish industry and community on the East Coast will take place August 7–10.
“Fetish Con was born from the need and desire to nurture and grow relationships within the fetish industry and community,” said event promoter Genesis Lynn. “Our class schedule this year is very diverse, offering a selection of informative classes geared towards the beginner, as well as the more experienced within the fetish and alternative lifestyle. Offering business and lifestyle classes, there’s truly something for everyone. We have doubled our classroom space, and we are looking forward to presenting this year’s exciting class schedule.”
Of note this year is a brand new speed-networking event, The Fetish Connect, on Thursday, August 7 from 1-3pm, sponsored by SEO 4 Studios and The Fetish Connection. All industry attendees are invited to “Get Connected @ The Fetish Connect;” registered models and producers are invited to take part. During the event, attendees will be able to put a face to a name, as well as exchange business cards and contact information while at Fetish Con. The event allows those attending to meet and network, and to set up times and places for shoots, before the parties begin.
In addition, Clips4Sale’s exclusive seminar for all Fetish Con attendees will take place on Saturday, August 9 from 2–3pm. Clips4Sale’s owner, Neil, will be a special guest speaker for the seminar, which will cover all aspects of production, privacy protection, legal compliance, payments and more. All those attending the in-depth seminar will also receive a complimentary tutorial outlining the most effective ways to utilize Clips4Sale for revenue generation.
Attorney Rob Nussbaum is returning to present two lectures for both the beginner and experienced adult content producer and performer. “2257: The Federal Record Keeping Statute” will be held Friday, August 9 from 1-2:30pm; “Legal Hodge Podge” will be held Saturday, August 9 from 1-2:30pm. The second lecture will include three interesting topics for discussion: the tremendous growth of social media and its legal concerns, some fascinating answers to questions about the legality of various sex-related activities, and interesting/quirky legal issues in the news relating to the adult business.
Fetish Con will be offering over 30 seminars, lectures, and workshops this year over the four-day weekend, including:
