LOS ANGELES—Nominees for the 5th Annual Fame Registry Porn Star Awards have been announced. The winners will be announced via Twitter on August 30 at 8 pm. The Fame Registry, a “Who’s Who of famous porn stars,” determines the popularity of porn stars every month using “proprietary algorithms using real scientific, traceable data.”
The data includes “things like how many movies they have been in, how many awards they have won, how many friends they have on social networking sites like twitter, how many times per day fans search for them on the internet, etc. Each year we take all this data and produce a list for the hottest porn stars of that year.”
But they also hand out awards. According to their website, “The Fame Registry Awards is an annual event and the winners are announced every year on August 30th via twitter @FameRegistry. This is the 5th year of the Fame Registry awards. There are 9 award categories and the nominees are listed below. This year the Fame Registry awards is brought to you in part by Digital Desires which offers photo galleries featuring some of the most beautiful women in the world.”
