LOS ANGELES—The Emmy Award-winning HBO mini-series True Detective has not shied away from using actual porn performers, and now the adult entertainment world is paying homage.
Digital Playground is offering it’s take on the crime/suspense drama, which recently completed its second season, with True Detective: A XXX Parody.
Broken up into six episodes, the first is available now at DigitalPlayground.com, while the second episode goes live on Oct. 17.
Lust, betrayal and pain: the basis of the complex personal worlds in which sexy detective Misty Kohl (Abigail Mac) and her partner Marty (Ryan Driller) are deeply immersed. Confronted with a challenging and provocative mystery, the duo will have to reunite and join forces to uncover the killer responsible for the same pattern of murders from a case they thought they’d solved long ago. To find the killer, Misty and Marty will have to plunge further into darkness … even if it means that the truth they uncover is more intricate than they ever imagined.
“True Detective XXX was a great opportunity to go beyond the sex in a movie,” Abigail Mac said. “Digital Playground is known for putting out amazing features and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to take on such an amazing role.”
As an added bonus, Peta Jensen, who appeared in an orgy scene in an episode of the second season of the cable show, appears in the first Digital Playground episode.
Subsequent episodes will be released on a weekly basis.
The series stars Abigail Mac, Ryan Driller, Abella Danger, Eva Lovia, Lexi Belle, Peta Jensen, Samantha Rone, Chad White, Danny Mountain and Richie Calhoun.
