VAN NUYS, Calif.—This year is set to be a most prolific one for Digital Playground. Always looking to the future, DP began 2012 with its acquisition by Manwin, a merger that should be a huge win for both companies. Manwin has added another solid brand to its already stellar portfolio of companies, which includes Playboy Television worldwide and Brazzers.com.
At the 2012 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, the Digital Playground booth saw record attendance. Fans eagerly sought out Digital's contract stars at the convention, which took place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Many fans waited upwards of four hours to meet their favorite adult stars from the company.
On Friday, Digital Playground hosted an official AVN party at Vanity. One of the most highly attended events dyuring the show, the party drew stars—adult and mainstream alike—industry professionals and fans.
When asked about Digital Playground's participation in AVN's big week in Vegas, AVN magazine editor-in-chief Sharan Street replied, "It was a delight having Digital Playground's gorgeous stars so involved with the show. Fans got a chance to meet the girls at Digital's bash at Vanity. And of course we also were thrilled to have both Kayden Kross and Jesse Jane co-hosting the AVN Awards Show red carpet interviews."
Digital Playground received some of the most prestigious awards that the AVN show has to bestow. Top Guns brought home the Best Selling Rental/Sales award. Other awards that were received by DP:
