LOS ANGELES—Blue Circus Entertainment's Dick Chibbles is ready to slap on the greasepaint one last time for a new Clown Porn installment as a tribute to his late friend and fellow clown porn co-star, Hollie Stevens.
“I was heartbroken when I lost one of my best friends Hollie Stevens back in July,” Chibbles said. “I am extremely driven to immortalize her memory as the queen and pioneer of an entire genre of adult comedy, and we are interviewing some of her friends along with outtakes from the original to let fans know how incredible of a person she was behind the face paint and releasing it on her birthday in January.”
Along with some of the cast from the original movie, the new movie, Clown Porn: The Parody, adds some new members to the face-painted comedy team.
Jay Sin, producer of Clown Porn Crimewatch and mainstream comedic clown western Crackwood starring Gilbert Gottfried, said “it’s a privilege to have had Hollie in my life and to give her a send off this way is an honor.”
Chibbles describes the new movie as more of a comedic look at the world of pornography than a parody of the original. "From the softcore love making scene where the talent hates each other in real life, to the absurd acting abilities in some feature movies, this movie cuts the brake lines sits back and watches the trainwreck with a smile," according to producers.
Helicopter Pete, one of the original members and producers of Clown Porn said “I miss Hollie dearly and this one’s for her, but I find It hilarious to think we still have a big following in cult culture in America”
Clown Porn was a hit with the mainstream media when it first released in 2006. It was featured in Stuff Magazine, The Village Voice, Maxim and Rolling Stone, and was featured on the Jerry Springer Show, the Howard Stern Show and recently on Family Guy.
"Hollie was one of those people that just grew on you, she was more like a sister than a friend and bringing the family together once more to honor her memory for a good cause is the least I can do,” performer Daisy Layne said.
“We had planned to re-release the original back in the spring and Clown Porn Crimewatch the sequel this fall, however in Hollie's passing we decided not to,” said Chibbles. “I’m sure she would be saying with her gracious personality, do it anyway let’s give em a laugh. However we felt it wouldn’t be right. Instead, we will honor her memory by pulling the family back together and put out a brand new movie and donate funds to Hollies’ requested charities.”
Clown Porn: The Parody also includes an interactive party game that can be played with four or more people. There will be a special tribute to Hollie the Queen of Clown Porn on the DVD along with outtakes of Stevens, interviews with some of her friends and coworkers.
