LOS ANGELES—The adult industry has a new photographer on the scene: Dean Thompson. Thompson enters the biz with over 10 years experience working in fashion and has had his work featured in magazines around the world. Although there are other fashion photographers in the industry, what makes Thompson unique is the fact he not only wants to work on set with high-end studios and directors, but he is photographing a wide range of models in the industry for his upcoming book and gallery show. His photography can be seen on his recently-created website, and is reminiscent of Helmut Newton riddled with juxtapositions and possessed of a certain demure aesthetic that when coupled with smut is sure to leave the viewer simultaneously aroused and baffled.
"Working in adult was a logical progression for me," Thompson said. "Fashion editorials are getting more and more risqué. But it's not adult and I want to be part of this thriving industry. I’ve already worked with some amazing models and I'm excited about who we have scheduled for the next month. I'm enjoying working with both established girls and newcomers, and they enjoy working with me because they get photos of themselves like they have never had before."
Thompson is serious about his blossoming adult career and has hired The Rub PR to help him find talent and get his name out there. He has already shot Zoe Voss, Katie Summers, Phoenix Askani, Chelsea Brooke and Ashley Adams. Nikki Delano, Britney Amber, Sienna Sinclaire and many others have also been scheduled to shoot with him throughout the month of July. Models interested in being part of his upcoming projects should email him directly. [email protected] Studios and directors can also contact him for still photography shooting and other endeavors. His coffee table book of photos is due to hit the shelves by early 2013. All requests for interviews, magazine placement and general media should be directed to Erika Icon of The Rub PR.
