LOS ANGELES—Wicked Pictures has wrapped production on Immortal Love and Love Blossoms, the latest installments in its Wicked Passions line. The 2012 AVN award-nominated series focuses on sensual stories designed for women and couples seeking adult entertainment with fully-scripted storylines and thoughtfully rendered characterizations.
Written and directed by Stormy Daniels, Immortal Love tells the tale of Madelyn (Gracie Glam), a young woman who finds herself alone and heartbroken after calling off her engagement. She shuts herself up in her high rise apartment, finding her only comfort in music. Soon, however, she begins to feel she is not alone. And after a shadowy figure saves her from some would-be attackers, Madelyn's suspicions are confirmed. She finds the courage to confront the mystery man one night, but nothing could have prepared her for what she discovers....or for her heart's unexpected reactions.
Immortal Love quickly becomes a classic tale of good versus evil as their undeniable passion causes two very different worlds to collide—and Madelyn soon learns that it is not just her heart that is in danger, but her very soul. Co-starring AVN award-winner Xander Corvus, the project combines a first-class supporting cast (including Wicked Girl Alektra Blue, Britney Young, Chanel Preston, Seth Gamble, Kris Slater, Mick Blue and Brendon Miller) with high production values, a fantasy-tinged storyline and special effects.
Daniels’ previous Wicked Passions release, Heart Strings, earned the veteran writer/director/performer a well-deserved AVN nomination for Best Director—Feature, while a selection from the DVD soundtrack, “No Song, No Supper,” was nominated for Best Original Song.
Love Blossoms, helmed by award-winning actor/director Barrett Blade, is a sensual drama of love, infidelity and redemption starring Jessie Andrews, the talented beauty whose winsome good looks and mainstream-quality acting chops recently earned her Best Actress trophies from both AVN and XBIZ magazines. Co-starring popular industry actors Kris Slater and Nick Manning, Blade’s newest production—his first for Wicked Passions—is an intriguing look at the tumultuous world of modeling, and the sometimes nefarious characters it attracts, and is marked by strong supporting performances from Heather Starlet, Lizz Tayler, Chanel Preston, Brad Tyler and Ryan McLane.
Before these recently wrapped projects hit store shelves this summer, lovers everywhere can look forward to such Wicked Passions entries as Bishop's She’s the One, starring Lexi Belle and Xander Corvus, which arrives in stores April 25. And on May 23, multiple 2012 AVN award-winner Brad Armstrong will return to the franchise with A Love Story starring three-time AVN Best Actress winner Jessica Drake and Xander Corvus.
For longtime Wicked Pictures consultant Joy King, these upcoming projects represent just the kind of growth she'd hoped to see as the series enters its second year.
"I continue to be impressed by the success of the line and the ambitious ideas and concepts our directors and talent bring to the table," she said. "The positive feedback the line is receiving continues to allow us to create high quality, passionate couples erotica."
